Unshakeable belief in oneself

Point 1. Hans Christian Andersen has autistic spectrum disorder. In fact, he was so slow that his teacher told him he'll never make something of himself. Now we all know who Hans C. Andersen is. BUT nobody knows the teacher!

Point 2: (From Toastmasters International Magazine: few months back, early this year)
Olympic medalist for shooting event (other role model examples included in the magazine but I clearly remember this the best at least). S/he was injured/ paralyzed on the right arm (along the lines, others thought that s/he would be a spectator since then. But in the end s/he still competed with the injured arm and won an Olympic medal.

My point is, don't let people define you. You are the one to determine your future responsibly and you are the one who knows what fits you well. Family and teachers can influence you, but do not let them decide and dictate your future, after all are they the ones wearing your shoes? Do they actually 100% know your hidden potential? No, only God knows! It is your life and dreams that you should be living out. God willing, nothing is impossible if proper determination, together with concrete short and long term plans are laid out (including back up plans).
