Cupid, bow and arrows :)

14th february....valentine's day. This is the day which will be for some, a memorable and romantic day, OR for people like me ...just a normal day.:)

Anyway, I have just watched "The Holiday" romantic comedy /movie recently. A good movie I reckon. More realistic touch yet it has a happy ending. Its theme is about LOVE...a bit similar to "My Best Friend's Wedding" movie (starred by Julia Roberts).

The movie opens up wt a wonderful introduction. Here's the extract & some of the quotations (Iris's point of view about love):
"I have found almost everything written about love to be true. Shakespeare said, 'Journeys end in love of meeting'.yada yadaaaa......But I am more willing to believe Shakespeare had about its sheer power to alter and define our lives. It(extract above) might not be accurate as I do not have a good memory. But well...the movie's opening (text above) presents a realistic and accurate definition of love. haaha I am applying my English 121G :reading, writing, texts skills. Analysing the style of language presented.=)
