Holidays once again =)
Yay, exams are over and we are having holidays again. What have I been doing these past few days after exam? Well, it's been ages since I actually blog due to exams. After my last paper infosys, headed straight to Mac Donald's at Queen Street to eat ice cream despite the miserable cold weather. Later, went to subway to have dinner with Lin Hui. The next day, went to law library (not to study of course), help Marie to carry her books altogether 15 to the law library to return her books. Phew...good exercise from walking !:-) Saturday...went to Queen Street for a hair trim (or shall I call it "fringe" trim).Spent nzd 5. Now I look real odd with my super short fringe. :p Later went to the market square (reminds me of malaysian style of trade shows with tents set up everywhere) selling all sorts of things from antiques to clothes. Visited Hoi Gi at her apartment. Wow...petronas students rented accommodation looks new like hotel!
Today...played piano the whole morning! In fact, learn a new song rondo alla turca (never bother to learn that last time) :P. Whole evening...window shopping! At New Market. Good exercise of walking again.:)
Some of my friends will be having exams on the 27th due to the power outage that happened a week ago. Luckily, my papers were not affected. Planning to watch Da Vinci Code ( after such a long time ). Go to St Luke for window shopping! (heard is one of the "biggest" shopping malls in NZ). Then I will be heading to South Island Dunedin and Christchurch.:-) Can't wait. :-) Been clearing up the mess in my room since exam (Papers scattered everywhere) and at the same time borrowed a book from ororke library "A Royal Duty" by Paul Burrell, been vey curious about its content since a few years back, now I can actually read it!
It is true I survived sem 1 lectures, but how about exams? There's this uncertainty here which makes me feel apprehensive whenever I thought of it. Semester 2 will pose greater challenges with macroeconomics, accounting concepts, commercial law, maths (core subjects) and english as my general paper. On the other hand, most of my friends had gone back to malaysia for holidays. The hall will be very still and quiet by Tuesday I reckon.
Till then take care everyone. Happy holidays !
