How to Budget

It's been 2 weeks I am here in New Zealand. Well...just 2 weeks and my expenditure has already soared drastically. No matter how hard I try to save, some how I still had no choice but to spend on "necessary" items here.
Essential items from Warehouse(fr 2 trips plus a wind breaker) .....60.32
Textbooks(5 subjects, 2nd hand books as well as the new edition ones)..........361.90
Coursebooks (with Stats software).........100
Dress Smart Black Scarf.....10

Food ( Missed lunch once and once spent on ice cream),shared..........4

On the other hand, I am having a great time here. Kept myself active during the past weekend. Went to Auck Domain to participate UMSA (United Malaysians Society of Auckland) gathering. So many Malaysians there. MARA, PETRONAS, JPA as well as those doing TESL under MoE scholarship.Many private students too.Even Singaporeans, Taiwanese joined in.
Went to Onehunga(Dress Smart) on Sunday. Bought a scarf. Wanted to buy a coat but found it not suitable. So i did not buy.
The weather here is unpredictable.. And it's getting very cold.And it rains. And we have to walk alot.And exposed to the erratic weather.No point using umbrella here, it would be blown off and spoilt.Hostel life here is fun.The food...shall not complain but it's great some times. :-)
Studies.....there's heaps of readings, tutorials, online quizes, assignments already piling up. Is all bout delegating my work well. Manage the time wisely. Enough said.:-) Gtg now. Study time.
