Be positive

These past few days I had managed to settle a few important tasks. Passport...yes, Auckland acceptance....yes, and accommodation application....yes.
I have been trying real hard to contact those who are heading to Auckland...yes, 2 girls so far who are not studying in KDU college. Luckily I have seniors fr KDU studying in Auckland. Really want to thank you for ur help, Joo ann. Some of my KDU frens hav not decided yet to which uni they are heading too. For Commerce (Kdu), only Francesca and I are nz bound for accounting. She's heading to Victoria Wellington. Looks like we ( kdu students 2004 July) are scattered everywhere in nz. ;) There's another large group of engineering students going to canterbury.
Well...for accommodation, jpa will only pay up to 200 nz dollar per week. And my accommodation fee has exceed that amount(catered hall).Looks like I have to pocket out another 35 nz dollar per week. Sigh... this policy just started since 2005 batch. And my monthly allowance will be 20%. If I totally depend on jpa, there's risk here. Cos I will be left with only 4 nz dollar per month. And if they increase the fee( to 250 nz dollar), I will be left wt a negative amount of 56 nz dollar.The previous batch of seniors are sponsored 100% for accommodation... so lucky, no wonder my sis is enjoying herself in Cornell, catered hall cos she's as lazy as me to cook. :p
I am glad that actually I still have the opportunity to stay in catered hall for the 1st year. Most of my frens who are heading to Melbourne uni fr Kdu are opting for self catered...catered hall in melb uni costs 310 aud. ouch!! Their allowance is less than ours in nz.
My dad told me as long as Jpa sponsor 100% for the tuition fee, that's quite safe already..
Err...imagine if they cut down on that, oh my...( I hope not). I can't compare with the allowance fr petronas, of course they will give more (the number of petronas sponsored stu) are much smaller as compared to jpa.
Jpa tea party is postponed...I thought it will be over by this week. And the "gotong- royong" session is postponed too, grr...guess I can't escape from it.
